I’m a Senior UX/UI Designer living in Canada. I have 8 years design experience under various umbrellas, including eCommerce and Software to AAA Games.
My approach is to use data driven results to create intuitive interfaces that people love. I geek out on research and iterative problem solving to produce inclusive products. I am passionate about people, I’m very social and love collaborating with stakeholders. My approach is to marry user needs and business needs, creating the best solution and monitoring for iteration.
Behind the designer
My name is Amber Waters and I grew up in British Columbia, Canada. I was always a creative individual growing up; competing and teaching dance and attending a fine arts school. I explored dance, photography, and writing. Later in life I did HR for a Software company and started to study User Experience. I knew whatever I ended up doing would be fueled by critical thinking, creativity, and working with people. I try to experience new things often. I let the world inspire me and my creative perspective through travel, dance, music, and games. The world is a beautiful and challenging place to be and I just want to help make things easier and create experiences that people love.
I also have 2 pretty cool cats.
